xBaseView 8.0.0753 Final

xBaseView Database Explorer comes in two versions, as a multifunctional stand-alone application, and as a Total Commander plug-in with the interface resembling Windows Explorer. xBaseView supports all popular database formats and all typical database operations, including database viewing, printing, searching, querying, import and export, including conversion to a different database format.

The following file extensions and database formats are supported:
.bde (Borland DB Engine Aliases), .cds (Borland Client Data Set), .csv (Text), .db (Paradox), .dbc (Visual FoxPro), .dbf (VFP/FoxPro/dBase/Clipper), .dsn (ODBC Data Source Name), .fdb (Firebird), .gdb (Interbase), .htm (Text), .html (Text), .mdb (Access), .mdf (MS SQL Server), .myd (MySQL), .sdb (SQLite Database), .tab (Text), .udl (ADO Universal Data Link), .xls (Excel), .xml (CDS & ADO XML).

xBaseView requires database drivers in order to open database files and execute SQL queries.
Main distribution packages (free downloads):
- MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) 2.1 or above
- Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Visual FoxPro
- MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver
- SQLite3 ODBC Driver
- IBPhoenix Open Source Interbase/Firebird ODBC Driver
- BDE (Borland Database Engine) 5.0 or above

Notes:
1. The xBaseView for Total Commander plug-in can only work in the read-only mode, and can only export data to a new table. This limitation does not apply to the stand-alone edition.
2. Also this limitation does not apply to the xBaseViewFree plug-in for the simple databases: .cds (Borland Client Data Set), .csv (Text), .db (Paradox), .dbf (VFP/FoxPro/dBase/Clipper), .htm (Text), .html (Text), .tab (Text), .xml (CDS & ADO XML).
